people, the shows, getting to see all the costumes, walking around with
a tankard of beer, and an excuse to wear tights in public. |
| Your favorite faire Is/Was: |
| That's
a hard one, the KC RenFaire is still a sentimental favorite because I knew
just about everyone there. (Went there for 10 years solid). And while
I really enjoyed Northern Faire in Novato, the 6:00pm security dweebs really
put a damper on the whole feeling, so I guess I'd still have to go with
KC. (This is sbuject to change however). |

| Watching
Tom get cuffed at the Novato RenFaire in 1998. By two naughty women, no
less-- I have pictures. |
| Worst faire memory is: |
| Just
about melting to death at the Fair Oaks RenFaire, 1998. It happened
a few weeks after Nugget [His dog] died, and so I was already feeling pretty
bad-- but add 100+ degree heat and heavy RenFaire costumes, plus several
Guiness and Mead to keep cool, well, I'm still amazed I didn't pass out. |
